The 2024 event

 

A fantastic selection of buses and coaches attended the new style event at Alton College on Sunday 21st July 2024, along with a wide variety of sales stands and catering outlets. A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event, especially all the vehicle owners who brought a bus or coach to display. We hope you enjoyed the new style event we were trialling this year.

 

The move to a new venue and the new format presented a lot of challenges and it was unlikely that we would get everything right first time. We will conduct a thorough review of the event and look at whether we can resolve or mitigate some of the issues that became apparent during the day. We have already received a lot of feedback. If you have any feedback on the event, we would be grateful if you could email it to us at altonbusrally@hotmail.co.uk so that we can consider it as part of our review.

 

We have already had many questions about an event next year and an announcement will be made in due course about a 2025 event, so keep an eye on our website and social media pages for updates.

New venue

      •  Alton College.

      •  All weather venue on hard standing with shade from sun and shelter from rain.

      •  Comes complete with Bus Station.

 

New format

      •  Up to 100 Buses and Coaches.

      •  Revised network of FREE bus services.

      •  Sales stands, catering outlets and toilets on site.

      •  Entry to the event is FREE.

 

New look

      •  Fresh new bus inspired logo.

      •  New website and marketing image to reflect the changes.

 

Same name

      •  It's too well known to change and it still does what it says.

      •  Same contact details, website address and social media addresses.

 

Same team

      •  With decades of experience organising and running the Alton Bus Rally & Running Day.
