We attend a number of events and shows during the year and are planning to attend the following:

Southampton Transport Anniversaries Weekend

Saturday 14th September - Southampton Heritage Open Days

Free entry to Tudor House & Gardens

Heritage Fayre inside West Quay Shopping Centre  

Display of heritage buses in St Michael's Square

Free heritage bus routes:

·   Bitterne Local History Society (First bus 10:30)

·   Docks for Shieldhall / Tram Workshop (First bus 10:15)

**Visitors must not enter or exit the Docks, except by way of the free bus service**

 Buses will stop at Castle Way by Shopmobility and the rear of St. Michael's Church.

A special commemorative tour using the remaining Southampton Guy Arabs will take place at 15:00hrs. Tickets for this tour are limited to 100 persons, these will be available in August.  

Sunday 15th September - Bursledon Heritage Open Day

Free entry to the Bursledon Brickworks Museum

Celebrations at Bursledon Railway Station for the 130th anniversary of the station.

Display of Guy Arab buses at the Bursledon Brickworks

A souvenir programme will also be available at £5.

These can be pre-ordered from August for £6.50 including postage. If you email us (webmaster@sadtht.co.uk), we will let you know when they are available to pre-order.

**The plan of the weekend may slightly change to the one advertised**

As most of our buses date back many years, sadly, they are not disabled / buggy access-friendly and are unable to carry wheelchair / buggy users. However, if possible our volunteers will be more than happy to help get people on board our buses and safely store wheelchairs / buggies during the journey.


Monthly Trust Meetings

We hold monthly meetings to discuss Trust activities and various other topics. Meetings normally take place on the 2nd Monday of each month from September to April inclusive at the Southampton Sailing Club, Victoria Road, Woolston, Southampton, SO19 9EF.

From May until August inclusive our meetings our held outside usually at our storage area at Bursledon Brickworks Museum, Swanwick Lane, Swanwick, Southampton, SO31 7HB.

The next meeting is on: Monday 12th August from 19:30.

The following meeting dates are:

 • Monday 14th October
